DUNKELFELDER IN THE MEES WINE ESTATE
The best quality is our aim in the production of our high-quality Dunkelfelder red wines. They grow in 30-year-old vineyards on deep terraced gravel soils in the KREUZNACHER ROSENBERG. Only the best ripened grapes are destemmed and carefully fermented on the mash. After fermentation, the finished red wine is pressed and placed in large oak barrels for about 12 months, where it matures harmoniously through contact with oxygen over the barrel surface.
